Wouter van den Noort

My name is Wouter, nice to meet you! I came to live in Scharn as a student in the 1990s. After a period in Wyck, I’ve been living on the border of Scharn and Heer for over 10 years now, with my wife and 6-year-old daughter.

I’ve been a volunteer for a few years now. I mainly focus on the more physical work in our park and I’m a member of the mowing team. I think it’s fantastic that we,
through our combined efforts, were able to transform the old football fields into a wonderful neighbourhood park. There’s plenty of room for growth and flourishing, but also for socialising, sports, relaxation, and cultural activities.

The period of construction and creation is now transitioning to maintenance and management. I enjoy contributing to these activities and am working on documenting the knowledge and experience that go into managing our park.
