Mariette Peeters, secretary

My name is Mariette Peeters and I have lived in Scharn since 2005. I became involved as a volunteer and core team member at De Groene Poort Oost park in 2022. I was immediately captivated by the fantastic group of volunteers! I have witnessed the inspiring development from a bare and deserted football field to the rolling, multifunctional, inviting and cheerful neighbourhood park, our green connection between Heer and Scharn, with my own eyes!

In May 2025 I became the secretary of the foundation and thus a member of the board. I would like to continue to do my part, both behind the scenes and in the park itself!
