DIY day report October 25, 2025

It was raining cats and dogs during the DIY day on the last Saturday of October. Nevertheless, around 20 volunteers braved the horrible weather and the park looked much tidier afterward.
Tree pits and signs in the food forest were checked, algae were removed from the pond, and the bee slope was partially cleared of tough weeds like cinquefoil and nettles.
The paths and driveway were weeded and trimmed, the plane trees pruned, and the pears picked.
We enjoyed lunch together. Working with others in nature is very rewarding, and you get to meet new people.
Are you interested? Come and have a look on a DIY day!
The next one is scheduled for 22 November from 10:30 to 14:30.
